Three Asians unjustly murdered

Time for some education

Let’s try a little thought experiment

Pick anyone you know and ask them this question: name me three Black people who were unjustly murdered. I’m willing to bet anything that that person will be able to name three names easily.

Now, with the same person, ask them this question: name me just one Asian person who was unjustly murdered. I’m willing to bet anything that that person will be left speechless.

The thought experiment is this.

Is the lack of awareness around Asian suffering more the result of people not caring and lack of media coverage? Or is it because it just doesn’t happen?

Rest assured. There is a correct answer to this question. And that answer might not make you feel too good about the role that you might be playing in elevating some stories at the expense of others.

Three names you should know about

Fu Tian Yan

Fu Tian Yan was a 59 year old laundromat employee. He was just doing his job, when the murderer Mekhi Loving (WHAT AN IRONIC NAME) came up behind him and stabbed him to his death for what appears to be something like $13.

Here’s the face of the killer

There used to be a video of the actual events, but it’s been taken down. Basically what happened was this. Fu Tian Yan had entered the employee room and quickly behind him came the cold blooded murderer who stabbed him multiple times. Fu Tian Yan covered his face and did his best to sustain the attacks, but the murderer needed to get his hands on those $13.

If you search his name, you’ll find some independent news sites and maybe some local news sites reporting on his death. But nothing on a mainstream mass media site.

Chong Yee Yang

Chong Yee Yang was a 69 year old father who wanted to celebrate his son’s birthday. That wouldn’t happen. Two men (pictured above), came rushing into his house and shot him point blank right in front of his children. The father lost his life. His children will be traumatized for life.

Turns out the the cold blooded murderers were involved in a gang and were looking to collect their drug money. But their lack of mental capabilities and led them to target the wrong house, where they would eventually draw their weapons on an innocent father and shoot him right in front of his kids.

If you search his name, you’ll find some independent news sites and maybe some local news sites reporting on his death. But nothing on a mainstream mass media site.

Fusako Matsumoto Petrus

Fusako Matsumoto Petrus was an 86 year old grandmother who was going on a leisurely walk at her town’s high school track with one of her lifetime friends.

The murderer then brutally and violently attacked her friend. Petrus attempted to use her walking stick to defend her friend. The murderer then turned his attention towards Petrus and beat her dead on the spot with his own fists.

Fusako Matsumoto Petrus died while taking a leisurely walk. She died while attempting to save her own friend from being brutally attacked.

If you search her name, you’ll find some independent news sites and maybe some local news sites reporting on his death. But nothing on a mainstream mass media site.

There’s a clear trend I want to point out in these three brutal murders. No, not that one. I’m not going to add more fuel to the racial wars.

The trend that I actually want to point out is that these are truly horrible, horrible stories of innocent mothers and fathers being murdered, yet I couldn’t find a SINGLE mention of any of them on a mainstream media site.

Next time you think Asians have it easy, think again. They’ve already faced the most harsh outcomes as a result of the COVID crisis.

Don’t make any Asian person’s life harder by gaslighting them when they attempt to talk about the difficulties that they face.
