Thanks for the comment! I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m trying to say though. When I say that America needs to grow up, it’s not that it needs to leave behind it’s history of being wild and brash. That is all ok.

The point that I’m trying to make is that when it comes to perspective, America has a lot to learn from any country in the world. It’s okay to have a very strong and different opinion. But to think that that opinion is the “only” opinion worth having is something that (1) I’ve only seen in America and (2) doesn’t lead to any productive discourse.
