I wrote this article more in reference to American liberal, urban culture and completely understand that it’s not the only perspective in America. I also happen to know because I also grew up and spent over 15 years of my life incredibly poor and living in a rural area.

But with all of that being said, this is my personal perspective of how I find American culture unique to the rest of the world. The only purpose is to highlight that American culture and perspective is not the only in the world. I understand that not everyone may see things the same way that I do and I’m more than happy to read the perspectives of others because not for a second will I ever think that I can see things from every person’s perspective :)
